Tyco International Inc. announced its ADT Security Services unit will sell a face-recognition system designed by Visionics Corp. in a deal to take advantage of an explosion of interest in the technology since the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States.
The deal gives Visionics, developer of FaceIt and a maker of facial recognition systems, entree to ADT’s presence in airport security.
