Intellectual property law firm to open in Cambridge

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Danner, an intellectual
property law firm based here in the nation’s capital, announced that it will open
an office in Cambridge, Mass., in order to serve clients in the Bay State region.
Finnegan, Henderson has 250 attorneys and asserts that it is the biggest intellectual
property law firms I the country, the Boston Globe reported. The firm announced
that it planned to have a dozen lawyers in it its Cambridge office this fall,
with up to 25 lawyers in the office in the future. Among its clients are Sun Microsystems
and Agilent, as well as Genetics Institute and Millenium Pharmaceuticals.
