John A. Tarantino, president at Providence based law firm Adler, Pollock & Sheehan, PC, has been elected to the board of trustees at Roger Williams University. He is a partner in the firm’s litigation group and former chairman of its executive committee. He is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and before the United States Supreme Court. Tarantino has served as president of the Rhode Island Bar Association and has chaired the committees on ethics and professionalism and public relations. He has also served on the board of directors at the New England Bar Association. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire and Boston Law School in Newton, Mass. He is a resident of East Greenwich.
