The price for a gallon of local gasoline has dropped another penny, according to AAA Southern New England.
According to AAA’s March 19 survey of Rhode Island gasoline prices, the average price per gallon of self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline was $1.48, down one cent from last week. The other average prices per gallon of self-serve, unleaded gasoline were $1.57 for midgrade; $1.65 for premium; and $1.63 for diesel. The corresponding prices per gallon of full-serve unleaded gasoline were $1.60; $1.70; $1.78; and $1.74, respectively.
