AG opens consumer satellite office in Woonsocket

PROVIDENCE — The Consumer Protection Unit of the Rhode Island Attorney General’s office has opened a satellite office, its first such office, in Woonsocket. Located in the Senior Citizens Center in that city, the office is staffed by CPU members on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Attorney General Sheldon Whitehouse announced. When the office is not staffed, a message center will be available and checked regularly so that CPU members can respond.
