Angelo Rotella has been elected chairman of the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living in Washington, D.C. He will represent nearly 11,000 for-profit and not-for-profit nursing homes, assisted living residences and facilities for care of those with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. Rotella currently serves as corporate president and administrator of the Friendly Home and Berkshire Place, two nursing facilities in Woonsocket and Providence.
