APC and Snap Appliances team

WEST KINGSTON, R.I. and SAN JOSE, Calif. — American Power Conversion (APC) and
Snap Appliances, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quantum Corporation, have announced
that the two companies have worked together to provide integration of APC’s technology
as a recommended protection provider for the Snap Server® rack-mountable products,
including the recently announced Snap Server ES12. With this designation, APC’s
power management capabilities have been integrated into the embedded Snap Operating
System (OS) and its Smart-UPS® uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) will be
recommended to customers for the Snap Server ES12.
