APC reaches agreement, global sales force grows

American Power Conversion has entered into the power protection industry’s first end-to-end worldwide sales agreement with EDS. Through this agreement, the EDS global sales force will sell APC’s comprehensive product and services offering, from surge protectors to large three-phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) to professional and consulting services, both within EDS and externally to its global customer base. EDS has also selected APC to be its corporate standard for power protection solutions. Peter Rumsey, vice president of APC’s Enterprise Systems Group said his company is proud that EDS values reliable power protection and has broadened its relationship with APC to offer APC’s line of products worldwide.
