Arnold H. Herman has been appointed as a cancer liaison physician for the cancer program at The Miriam Hospital, where he serves as a senior surgeon. He has been active in cancer treatment since he joined the hospital in 1974. Herman is also the medical director of Breast Health, a center that evaluates breast cancer. He is a clinical associate professor of surgery at Brown Medical School. Herman earned a medical degree from the University of Kansas, and served his internship and residency at University Hospital in Boston (now Boston Medical Center). He lives in Pawtucket.
