EAST GREENWICH – Arpin International Group, the worldwide household goods forwarder whose world headquarters are on Post Road, yesterday announced the opening of a new office in Singapore that expands AIG’s presence in the Asia Pacific region.

The new office – Arpin International (Asia) Pte Ltd, in Singapore’s Concorde Shopping Centre – will have its official opening on Jan. 1.
Arpin Asia – the company’s second office abroad, after ArpinUK in London – will collaborate with U.S. and European offices and partners as a “moving management hub” for domestic and international clients wishing to relocate workers throughout Asia, the company said.
The new office’s director is Arpin newcomer Berlina Sim, a Singapore native who joined the team this fall. Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, as well as English, she comes to AIG from Interdean Interconex, where she was an assistant director of regional sales and marketing. Sim has 18 years of marketing experience and is currently pursuing her MBA.
Assisting her is Pei Li Toh, the office’s primary customer-service representative and relocation coordinator.
