Shannon K. Melchione has been appointed mortgage originator at People’s Credit
Union. Her responsibilities will include the origination of real estate loans
throughout Newport County. She has over a year of experience in financial services
as a loan officer for Fleet Mortgage. Melchione attended the University of Rhode
Island where she studied liberal arts. She resides in Middletown with her husband
Michael and their children Michael Jr. and Stella.
