Steven B. Dodge has been appointed to the board of directors at Citizens Financial Group in Providence. He is chairman and chief executive officer of Boston-based American Tower Corporation, an independent owner and operator of communications towers in the United States. He was the founder and CEO of American Cablesystems Corporation, a publicly traded cable television company, which was merged into Continental Cable, now Media One, in 1988. Dodge is also a director of WebLink Wireless, Inc., Nextel Partners, Inc., TD Waterhouse Group, Inc. and Sensitech, Inc. He is a trustee of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. He is a graduate of Yale University and resides in Machester-by-the-Sea, Mass.
