Bill Harris has been appointed director of sales at Newport Harbor Corporation in Newport. He is a 20-year veteran of the hospitality industry and will develop and implement new sales initiatives for the company. Harris previously worked as corporate director of sales and marketing at Andover, Mass.-based Tage Inns & Suites. He’s a founding member of Meeting Professionals International/New England Chapter. Harris is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and received a bachelor’s degree in hotel administration.
