Wavelight Design relocates
Wavelight Design, Inc., a marketing driven graphic design firm, has moved its offices to a larger site in Pawtucket. Owner Gregory Duchesne said the decision to purchase the building on Armistice Boulevard was made after steady business growth led the company to outgrow its previous Cumberland location within two years. Final building renovations are expected to be complete this summer. The company plans to have an open house sometime in the early fall.

Cherry Semiconductor names graphic arts supervisor
Susan Root has been promoted to the newly created position of graphic arts supervisor at Cherry Semiconductor Corporation. The position was created to accommodate the growth of the marketing communications department and the increasing demand for graphics services by the company’s two business units. She has been a desktop publisher for Cherry since joining the company in 1993. Her new position entails supervision of the graphics department, covering all aspects of desktop publishing, collateral development and web site administration. A Clayville resident, Root is a graduate of Rhode Island College.

Richmond-based Im-aj Communications & Design, Inc. is a bronze winner in the 1999 Summit Creative Awards competition for its outstanding creative work in the category of self-promotion. Sane Solutions names three new managers
Web-site traffic analysis software company Sane Solutions LLC has appointed three new managers.
Tara A. Agneta has been named marketing manager. Previously a marketing coordinator for Markowitz & McNaughton, Inc. in Virginia, she now resides in Narragansett. Agneta holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Rhode Island.
William J. Duffy
William J. Duffy has become the new technical support manager of the company. The North Kingstown resident is a former technical support manager for Adams New Media in Massachusetts. Duffy is a graduate of Hampshire College, in Amherst, Mass.
Thomas W. Briggs
Thomas W. Briggs has been appointed software development manager. He was previously a software engineer for QualityMetric, Inc., in Lincoln. A resident of Coventry, Briggs also attended the University of Rhode Island.
Select hires two
Deborah Dallal has been hired as the new marketing manager for Select, Inc. The Westwood, Mass.-based company also expanded its engineering staff by adding Michael Tetreault as an integration engineer. Select is a $50 million network computing solution provider.
Quadrant Software adds senior managers
Quadrant Software, the Taunton, Mass.-based developer of enterprise fax solutions, has placed employees Francis M. Kuhn, Mark Carlin and Kellie-Ann Heenan in positions of senior management.
Francis M. Kuhn
Kuhn has been named director of technical services. The North Attleboro, Mass. resident has been with Quadrant since its inception in 1990. He has held positions in the development, technical support and professional services departments. He will oversee the technical support, internal information systems and product shipping and receiving departments. Before Quadrant Kuhn worked as a computer programmer at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
Mark Carlin
Carlin is the new director of marketing. He joins the company from Accusoft, where he held executive vice president and vice president of sales and marketing positions. He will manage all strategic marketing initiatives. A Boxborough, Mass. resident, Carlin holds bachelor’s degrees in both computer systems engineering and electrical engineering from UMass, Amherst, as well as a master’s in marketing from Rivier College in New Hampshire.
Kellie-Ann Heehan
Heenan has joined Quadrant as human resources manager. In this newly created position, she will manage all corporate human resource activities for the organization. Previously an HR manager with IDG Expo Management, Heenan resides in Smithfield. She is a graduate of Stonehill College.
