Christopher J. Cunha
Cunha promoted at UNICOM
Christopher J. Cunha has been promoted to network design engineer at UNICOM. He will work with corporate, government, and education customers to identify their needs, modify their existing network to fit those needs, and create a network environment. Prior to joining the Providence company, he was a technician and supervisor at Coto Wabash, a computer relay manufacturer. He began his career at UNICOM five years ago as a field service technician and was promoted to project engineer prior to being named to the network design team.

Cunha holds a Compaq ASE Certification, and A+ Service Technician Certification and various other Compaq and Hewlett Packard certifications. He is currently working towards his Cisco Certified Design Association certification.

Bradley J. Waugh
Waugh appointed VP at CBSI
Bradley J. Waugh was recently appointed senior vice president for the Eastern region of Complete Business Solutions, Inc. His responsibilities will include overseeing operation in all branch offices from Montreal, down the East Coast, over to Texas. Originally from Cambridge, Mass., Waugh is a graduate of Boston University with a degree in Management Information Systems.

Car Phone Store changes name
The Car Phone Store, the nation’s largest independent cellular retailer, has outgrown its name. To reflect today’s expanding wireless market, the company’s 110 stores will soon be known as Wireless Zone.

The company, which has stores in 12 states along the East Coast, including nine in Rhode Island, already has several stores operating under the Wireless Zone banner.

The transformation of the CPS into the WZ coincides with changes occurring at Bell Atlantic Mobile, which recently changed its own name to Verizon Wireless.

Andrew Kisiday
Danka appoints Kisiday regional sales manager
Andrew Kisi-day, a resident of Merrimac, New Hampshire, has been appointed senior area sales manager for the New England region by Danka Business Systems PLC.

He will oversee the sales and service operation in Rhode Island, Eastern Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. A 22-year veteran of the office products industry, he was formerly with Xerox and Eastman Kodak. Kisiday is a graduate of Bucknell University.
