Infinite changes at Infinite Group
Warwick-based Infinite Group, Inc., which has acquired two plastics companies and created a third, has combined all three with its Express Tool division to create the Infinite Plastics Group. In addition to this, the organization has appointed Thomas O’Connor as the new president. He was previously the manager of customer manufacturing services for GE Plastics, emphasizing new manufacturing technology implementation.

David Susak appointed at Cherry’s new center
David Susak has been appointed as manager of the new design center for East Greenwich-based Cherry Semiconductor Corporation. Susak will oversee all activities at the design center, which implements a multi-disciplined, team approach to new product design and development. He brings with him over 15 years experience in analog mixed signal design, including stints as principal analog designer at Microchip Technology, Inc. in Arizona.

Yushin America opens Midwest technical center
Yushin America, one of the largest suppliers of injection molding robots in North America, has opened a new facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Cranston-based company’s Midwest Technical Center provides applications engineering and integration services, installations, repair and maintenance services and training facilities. The new office includes a showroom with robots and end-of-arm tooling.
