EAST PROVIDENCE – Capital Properties Inc. last week reported net income for the three- and six-month periods that ended June 30 of $461,000 and $865,000, respectively.
The company said in a statement that basic income per common share was 14 cents and 26 cents, respectively.
The incomes were slightly lower than the numbers reported last year by Capital Properties, which operates an oil-storage facility in East Providence and owns much of the land in Providence’s Capital Center. Last year, the company reported net incomes of $489,000 and $869,000, respectively. Those figures resulted in a basic income per common share of 15 cents and 26 cents, respectively. •
