Carl M. Amaral has been named senior vice president and regional manager for The Washington Trust Company. He is responsible for overseeing the operations of the main office, the Franklin St. branch and McQuade’s Marketplace branch in Westerly; the branch offices in Richmond, Block Island, Charlestown and Wakefield; the Sweet Meadows and Bonnet Shores branches in Narragansett; and the branch offices at Olde Mistick Village, McQuade’s Marketplace and the A&P Super Foodmart, all in Mystic, Conn. Amaral manages his own commercial portfolio.
