Cheryl Twiss has been appointed director of sales at Newport Hospitality.
Her responsibilities include managing and acquiring accounts and directing the sales effort for Newport Hospitality.
Twiss previously had been the senior sales manager in the association market at several leading Newport hotels.
She is the chairwoman of Women in Hospitality, a subcommittee of the Rhode Island Hospitality and Tourism Association.
