Christopher J. Medici has been named executive vice president and director of communications at United Way of Rhode Island. He will be responsible for communications, marketing and advertising. Previously, Medici held positions in communications at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island and New England Gas Co., and served as a vice president for (add)ventures Inc.
