George S. Burman has joined New England Construction of Rumford as director of
architecture. He will be in charge of architectural design and project planning
and his responsibilities will include concept development and overseeing design
production for the company’s commercial, industrial and institutional building
projects. He previously served as director of architecture at the Ames Corporation,
Architect/Engineer in Bangor, Maine and architect and project manager at Morris/Switzer
Architects in Burlington, Vermont. Burman holds a bachelor of architecture degree
from the University of Montreal in Canada. He earned a certificate of achievement
from the Institute of Urban Design, Paris, France.
