Cox partners with Woonsocket Area Career & Tech

CRANSTON – Cox Communications has partnered with the Woonsocket School Department to create the Cox Telecommunications Academy, a center of learning for area teachers, students and the Woonsocket community. The Telecommunications Academy, which will serve as the Cox Communications hub for educational programs in Northern Rhode Island, will promote services and resources to students, teachers and the community. The new facility, created by the Woonsocket Area Career & Technical Center, consists of a large meeting room complete with LCD projector, screen, white board, Cox@home connection; computer lab with 20 stations and catering facilities.
