Daniel J. Hagerty, senior vice president of business lending at Bank Rhode Island, has joined the Business Development Company of Rhode Island’s board of directors. He will also serve on the company’s executive committee. Hagerty has more than 20 years of banking experience, specializing in asset-based lending to mid-sized companies. He is a member of the Providence and Cranston Chambers of commerce, the Providence College Alumni Association and serves on the board of the Warwick Boys & Girls Club. He is a graduate of Providence College. Hagerty lives in South Kingstown.
