Danny Nesmith has been named first vice chairperson of the board at the Westerly Community Credit Union. Nesmith retired from the U.S. Postal Service, having served as postmaster of Charlestown and postmaster of Westerly. He currently manages the Drug Free Communities Support Grant for the Chariho Tri-Town Task Force on Substance Abuse. •
