David M. Ferreira has been named vice president, area sales manager at Bank Rhode Island. Prior to joining BankRI, Ferreira worked at Sovereign Bank in Johnston. In his new role, he is managing the BankRI office at One Turks Head Place in Providence. He is also responsible for leading sales activities across a cluster of branches with the Turks Head office as a hub. Ferreira has a bachelor’s degree in finance/ management from the University of Rhode Island.
