Deborah A. Powers has been appointed associate director of perioperative services at Kent Hospital in Warwick. She will direct clinical practice for inpatient and outpatient surgical services. Powers joined Kent in 2003 as manager of the hospital’s post anesthesia recovery, cardiac catheterization and special procedures units. She has a master’s degree in nursing science from Anna Maria College in Paxton, Mass.
