Providence real estate developer Cornish Associates has announced a Downcity holiday celebration planned for this Sunday, Dec. 5.
From Westminster to City Hall to the Fleet Skating Center, Downcity will sparkle again, the company says in an announcement on its Web site. Cornish encourages attendees to see a new four-block decorative display featuring a canopy of lights and a display of “Whimsical Windows” on Westminster Street. Also planned is a live Fezziwig Party, a Downcity Dickens event hosted by Trinity Rep and the Federal Reserve.
