Dr. A. Robert Buonanno has been named chairman of the department of surgery at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.
He has been a member of the medical staff since 1982.
He is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
He completed his graduate studies at the New Jersey School of Medicine in Newark, N.J., and did his internship and residency at Brown University.
