Barbara Casey Ruffino, of Wake-field, has been named to the Hood College Board of Trustees. Ruffino will serve a six-year term for the school, located in Frederick, Maryland. Ruffino is a business consultant with experience in strategic planning, business development and project management. She has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Hood and a master’s degree in psychology from Columbia University. Ruffino has also received a certificate in public service from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
