Edward J. Cooney has been appointed to OceanPoint Financial Partners MHC’s board of trustees. In addition, he will serve as a board member of its subsidiary, BankNewport. Cooney is vice president and treasurer of Nortek Inc. A certified public accountant, he holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from the College of the Holy Cross and a master’s in taxation from Bryant University. •
