Edward K.S. Chien has joined the department of obstetrics and gynecology in the division of maternal-fetal medicine at Women & Infants’ Hospital. He received his bachelor’s and medical degrees from the University of Illinois. Chien completed his residency at the University of Michigan and a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Chicago. He is a member of the Society for Gynecologic Investigation, the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Society of Cell Biology. Chien lives in Providence.
