Bharat Patel, P.E. has been promoted to associate at Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. (VHB) of Providence. He is a senior project manager at VHB and has been with the firm since 1993. He has expertise in the design of concrete and steel bridges. Prior to joining VHB, Patel worked extensively on several major railroad bridge projects for the MBTA’s Old Colony Line on Boston’s South Shore. He received his BSCE with honors from the University of East London, England in 1979. He resides in North Attleboro, Mass. with his wife, Nandini, their son Mirage and their daughter Nera-Lee.
