Fidelity Investments is
giving some of its employees pay raises, although its top-paid
workers won’t receive an increase, the Boston Herald reported.
Employees who make a base salary of less than $75,000 will
be eligible for the raises based on their annual performance, the
newspaper said, citing a company memo.

All workers received merit raises in 2002, a year after
Fidelity only gave pay increases to workers making less than
$75,000, the Herald reported.
Fidelity declined to say how many of its more than 29,000
employees would be eligible for the 5 percent merit pool, the
paper said.
