FALLS CHURCH, VA. — General Dynamics has named Kenneth C. Dahlberg executive vice president. He succeeds Gordon R. England, who recently retired.
As executive vice president, Dahlberg will be in charge of the company’s Information Systems and Technology group. He will report to Nicholas D. Chabraja, chairman and chief executive officer, the company said.

Dahlberg’s professional experience includes his position as executive vice president for business development of Raytheon and president of subsidiary Raytheon International Inc. Prior to Raytheon’s merger with Hughes Aircraft Company in 1997, Dahlberg served as corporate vice president of Hughes Electronics Corp and as senior vice president of Hughes Aircraft Company. Dahlberg joined Hughes in 1967, working in various engineering, program and leadership positions.
Dahlberg serves on the National Defense Industrial Association Board of Directors, and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the American Society of Naval Engineers and the Surface Navy Association, as well as a lifetime member of the Navy League.
