PROVIDENCE — Governor Lincoln Almond will present his seventh State of the State address on Wednesday, February 7 at 7 p.m. in the House Chamber.
According to the governor’s office, Almond will outline his legislative agenda for the 2001 General Assembly session and will detail his budget priorities for the coming fiscal year. Rather than hold a State of the Budget address, the governor’s office will release the Rhode Island Fiscal Year 2002 Budget to the public on February 15.
