PROVIDENCE – GTECH Corp. announced on March 18 that it successfully completed its latest external International Organization for Standardization 9001:2008 audit of its Quality Management system.
GTECH said it has maintained its ISO 9001 certification – an internationally recognized set of standard for a quality management system model – continuously since Dec. 16, 1992.

The Providence-based subsidiary of Lottomatica said its scope has changed to reflect the relocation of its manufacturing facility from West Greenwich to Coventry.
“GTECH’s continuous ISO 9001 certification proves that our Quality Management System provides the assurances to our customers that we will meet or exceed their expectations,” said Corey Donnerstag, GTECH senior director of manufacturing operations.
Quality Systems Registrar was contracted by GTECH to perform the external audit.
