ROME – Lottomatica Group S.p.A., one of the world’s largest lottery operators based on total wagers, said its Providence-based subsidiary GTECH Corp. signed a three-year contract extension with the Missouri Lottery.
The extension will begin on July 1, 2012, and is expected to generate $45 million in revenue.

GTECH has been providing online equipment and services to the Missouri Lottery since 1991. It will continue providing lottery technology, self-service lottery products, multimedia displays and player subscription services.
“Over the next three years, we will assist the Missouri Lottery in enhancing their self-service offering, expanding their retailer base, and implementing an innovative subscription player service program,” said GTECH President and CEO Jaymin B. Patel.
GTECH will provide the Missouri Lottery with 450 Gemini Ultra machines, its all-in-one online/instant ticket lottery dispensing machine.
