Hasbro introducing Nickelodeon character toys

Hasbro Inc. will market two games
based on the SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon character this year
and sell other games based on characters from Viacom Inc.’s
Nickelodeon television channel, Bloomberg reports.

Hasbro has an exclusive contract for the U.S. rights to
produce games and puzzles with Nickelodeon’s
television properties and Nick Movies. The company plans to rebrand some of its traditional
games with Nickelodeon characters,
spokesman with Hasbro’s outside public relations firm, Fleishman-
Hillard, told Bloomberg.

The first games, expected to be in stores in March, will be
Ants in the SquarePants, a version of the Hasbro preschool game
Ants in the Pants, and the Game of Life in Bikini Bottom
SpongeBob SquarePants edition, a version of the Game of Life.
