Lifespan has appointed Ruth I. Kauffman to its board. She has served as chairwoman of the Emma Pendleton Bradley Hospital board of trustees for the past four years. She has been active as a volunteer at Bradley Hospital her entire adult life and has been a trustee for 25 years. Kauffman has served on the Hospital Association of Rhode Island’s board of trustees and chaired its auxiliary section. She lives in Warren.
