Dale F. Groves, CPCU has been named vice president of underwriting at The Providence Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Warwick. His responsibilities will include all aspects of underwriting and departmental operations. Groves previously served as manager of underwriting and director of commercial lines of underwriting at a regional New England insurance carrier. He graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor of science degree in 1982 and was awarded the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation in 1997.
