J. Rudi Heater, general manager of the Crowne Plaza Hotel at the Crossings
in Warwick, has been honored with the “Best of the Best – General Manager
of the Year Award.” He has over 30 years of hospitality industry experience.
Heater was instrumental in the upgrade of the hotel from a Holiday Inn to a
Crowne Plaza Hotel. He is an officer of the Providence/Warwick Convention &
Visitors Bureau and of the Rhode Island Hospitality & Tourism Association.
Heater serves on the board of the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
He is also responsible for operations of the Holiday Inn Express Hotel &
Suites in Warwick.
