James Gleason has been appointed to the board of directors of the Westerly Community Credit Union. He is a past president and current member of the board of directors for the Providence College Alumni for New London/Washington Counties and also the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick. He is the former treasurer of the Rhode Island Basketball Coaches Association. Gleason recently retired from Westerly High School after 37 years as a social studies teacher.
