James Loring has been named chief financial officer of Amica Mutual Insurance Co. He served as senior vice president and chief financial officer at Savings Bank Life Insurance of Massachusetts. He has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and worked for Sun Life Financial, The Hanover Group and Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Loring has a B.A. from Bryant University and an MBA from Clark University. •
