Jane Metzger, senior chief nursing officer at Providence-based Rhode Island Hospital, recently received the 2005 Health Service Award from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. She received the award for dedication to the Saint Anselm nursing department’s philosophy of professional and compassionate care and in recognition of exemplary leadership. She manages all areas of nursing services and oversees a staff of 1,200.
