Jann-Douglass Bell has been named to the board of trustees of Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island. She serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Shawn Feinstein graduate division at Johnson & Wales University, as well as the undergraduate division at Salve Regina University. Bell is certified in service management, immigration and diversity education specializing in race, ethnicity and globalization. She is a member of the National Association of Foreign Service Advisors. Bell is also the presiding officer of the Metro Division of Business and Professional Women in Rhode Island. She lives in Providence.
