Jeffrey Gillooly was recently named executive assistant to Roger Williams University President Roy J. Nirschel. He is to assist the university in the implementation of its strategic plan and other initiatives to advance RWU’s programs, policies and events. Gillooly had worked at Newbury College as associate dean of student affairs. He has a bachelor’s degree in English from Dartmouth College and has a master’s from Vanderbilt University. He lives in Norwood, Mass.
