Joanne Matthew has been appointed nurse manager of the intensive treatment unit at Butler Hospital in Providence. She has been a nurse at Butler for 17 years. For the past two years she’s served as assistant nurse manager on the hospital’s mood and psychotic disorders inpatient unit. Matthew has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Rhode Island.
