Jody A. Underwood has been appointed chief of patient assessment services at Butler Hospital. She is responsible for providing and supervising the medical aspects of assessing and admitting patients who are dealing with serious behavioral or substance abuse problems. Underwood earned her medical degree from New Jersey Medical School and completed both a residency in internal medicine and a residency in psychiatry at Brown Medical School.
