K-B Toys will sell a President George
W. Bush action figure depicting him as he appeared when he landed
on the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier on May 1, the
Washington Post has reported.
Hong Kong-based Blue Box Toys is distributing the figure as
part of its “Elite Force” series. The doll will be available at
K-B Toys for $39.99 starting Sept. 15, the newspaper said.

The plastic Bush doll will be outfitted in a flight suit,
survival vest and parachute harness, with a helmet and oxygen
mask in hand, the newspaper said. Blue Box spokeswoman Lauri
Aibel said Bush is the first president to be made into an “Elite
Force” figure, which is meant to be a collector’s item instead
of a toy, the newspaper said.
Aibel said customers were already ordering the doll, though
the company hasn’t advertised it yet, the newspaper said. A White
House spokeswoman declined to comment, the Post said.
