Karen McCarthy has been named mortgage specialist in the lending services group at Bank Rhode Island. In this role, McCarthy will assist BankRI locations in East Providence, Lincoln, Pawtucket, Smithfield and Woonsocket with referrals, mortgage applications and loan support to customers. She has more than 12 years of mortgage banking experience and most recently served as an account executive with JPMorgan Chase. •
